Yesterday, we had the privilege of being the headline sponsor for the ASVA Conference 2025 at Perth Concert Hall. With around 400 delegates from across Scotland’s visitor-attractions sector, it was a day packed with insight, collaboration and future-looking thinking.

Here are some of the standout themes and take-aways from the conference programme:

Organisations like The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland explored how mission-driven attractions can also adopt commercial strategies without losing their core purpose.

  • Innovation and partnerships

From Irish-based innovation stories to Scottish cross-sector partnerships, the message was clear: collaboration, innovation and agility will shape the future of visitor experiences.

  • The big picture: growth, place & visitor economy

The closing session reframed the industry through the lens of international visitor markets (VisitBritain), national strategy (Scottish Tourism Alliance) and putting communities and place at the heart of the visitor economy (VisitScotland).
