About Thorpe Precast
Founded in 2004 by Harvey Thorp, Thorp Precast has grown from a small operation in Chesterton to a 20+ acre site with over 150 employees across five factories. They specialise in architectural precast facades, particularly brick and stone, and continually drive innovation using next-generation concrete and 3D modelling technologies.
To support this ongoing growth and innovation, they needed a robust software solution that could scale with their business and streamline operations.
The Challenge
Thorp Precast needed to consolidate multiple business systems and modernise their ERP platform to better support their manufacturing, financial, and operational processes. They wanted a solution built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central but customised to their unique needs, including job costing, panel manufacture planning, and seamless integration with financial and reporting tools. The goal was to improve efficiency, ensure accurate data, and provide real-time insight across the business while supporting future growth.

Our Solution
We implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as Thorp’s ERP system, integrating key partner products including Continia Expense Management and Document Capture, as well as Jet Reports for flexible, real-time analytics.
