Dynavics CSR at Christmas
Louise Woodruff
Our team have been busy being Santa’s little helpers over the last few weeks… providing gifts and toys for all the good girls and boys, and donating to children’s charities, this Christmas.
Last year, the team donated gifts to the Salvation Army’s Christmas present appeal. This year, Dynavics took things further and donated to two separate charities; The Cowshed (Wokingham) and The Giving Tree (nationwide). At a time when many families are struggling, the Dynavics team are happy to give something back and ensure that children can still enjoy a present or two this Christmas.
The Cowshed
Every year, The Cowshed helps thousands of children who would not otherwise receive a Christmas present. 2022 is no different, and if anything, were expecting an unprecedented demand, which is why they needed help from companies – like Dynavics.
Dynavics supported The Cowshed’s Christmas appeal by purchasing toys, books, and other various gifts from their designated WishList. The team were encouraged to donate rather than a company-wide Secret Santa. As well as donating lots of toys for all the good girls and boys, our very own Anna volunteered at the charity, to help wrap their impressive amount of donations!
The Giving Tree
As well as donating to The Cowhshed, Dynavics took part in purchasing donations for The Giving Tree, at Meadows Business Park.
The Giving Tree, which supports the charity ‘KidsOut‘, provides a gift or experience to a child in refuge over Christmas. The recipients are children who have escaped domestic violence, being forced to flee their homes quickly and leave all possessions behind, as well as children who are living in the highest areas of deprivation in the country and are living with a disability, serious illness or life-limiting conditions. Without our Giving Tree, these children may not otherwise receive a gift at Christmas nor have their dream come true.
