On Wednesday 12th May, some of the Dynavics team headed to Yateley Industries with CMPP, to help out on their Community Action Day…
Yateley Industries works to sustain and increase the opportunities for people with disabilities in rewarding employment, both in its internal employment opportunities and mainstream work, with an occupation that enables a disabled person to contribute to society.
The Dynavics Team…
- Daniel Jones, Co-Founder & Director
- Adam Sellers, Co-Founder & Director
- Sam Ausden, Technical Consultant
- Louise Woodruff, Communications Officer
- Konstantin Dinev, Support Consultant
Dynavics had a great day helping out with CMPP at Yateley Industries. Not only was it a great opportunity for the team to have a day away from their computers, but was great to learn about the amazing work at Yateley Industries and help such a worthy cause.
As well as working alongside CMPP, Windsor Telecom came along to help make a difference to the people at Yateley Industries.
What the team got up to…
The team spent the day cutting back trees & bushes, weeding, and generally tidying some of the outdoor areas that had become overgrown during lockdown.
- Cutting back trees
- Clearing paths and walkways
- Trimming bushes and shrubbery
- Weeding and raking
Not only will the clearing of the outdoor areas improve the look of the estate, but cutting back shrubbery will allow more sunlight into the buildings. As the sunshine returns, we hope the work we have done will mean that the residents will be able to enjoy it even more! Hopefully, by cutting back large areas of the gardens, it will mean that the overall landscape will be easier to manage for the gardener at Yateley Industry.
Working with CMPP…
We are delighted to work with CMPP for a second year, as the team are all so welcoming and so passionate about their work. The Dynavics team became members of CMPP in 2019 and got involved in their first Community Action Day soon after… read more about it here.
Working with CMPP gives Dynavics the opportunity to give back as we focus our attention on our CSR programme in 2021. Following a difficult year, the team are keen to help local charities and communities who may have struggled.
Rachel Austen, Corporate Volunteer Coordinator, CMPP…
“We would like to say a massive thank you to the team from Dynavics who came out and volunteered at Yateley Industries for the Disabled, you have made such a difference to this local charity with all the hard work you put in. It was such a great day and so lovely to meet and work with such an amazing, hard working team!”
