From Humble Beginnings
Chessington Garden Centre opened its doors in the spring of 1967, and has quite literally continued to grow and flourish ever since. Ambitious plans to develop the business have seen its offering develop from a small nursery to retail giant, with a diverse retail, hospitality and events business housed on one Surrey site.

The Challenge
Chessington’s systems were cumbersome, disconnected, and limiting. Multiple EPOS databases, outdated reporting, and unsupported software made daily operations complex, while opportunities to implement loyalty programs, streamline events, and manage seasonal sales effectively were being missed. They needed a modern, reliable ERP solution that could unify their business processes, reduce risk, and provide real-time visibility across the organisation.
Our Approach
We were approached by Chessington Garden Centre when they realised their legacy Microsoft Dynamics NAV system, installed in 2004, was holding back their growth. Outdated and unsupported, their systems created inefficiencies in stock control, EPOS, event bookings, loyalty schemes, and reporting. They needed a trusted partner who could provide clarity, actionable insights, and a scalable solution to support their diverse retail, hospitality, and events operations.
We worked closely with Chessington to transition from their legacy NAV system to the latest Dynamics 365 Business Central platform. This included consolidating 22 standalone EPOS databases, integrating Jet Reports for real-time analytics, and leveraging LS Retail solutions for membership and loyalty management. Our team ensured a smooth migration, delivering a flexible, mobile-enabled system that allowed staff to work efficiently across the site and make informed decisions with confidence.
