LS Retail are a leading expert in unified business software solutions, based on Microsoft Dynamics Business Central technology. From POS to back office, LS Retail gives you a complete overview of your business solutions.

Built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central 2021, release wave 1, the new version of LS Central 18.1 sees multiple new and enhanced features including Customer Order Enhancements for the BackOffice, and a new function to LS Hardware Station.

As a Gold Partner of LS Retail, the Dynavics team keep up to date, and ensure our customers can utilise the latest release to their full advantage.

BackOffice

The new Customer Order profile, now available in LS Central, will provide easy access for Customer Order processes. Other improvements including Print Customer Order Picking Label, Data Director Cleanup and Web Service Cleanup have been introduced to the Customer Order Enhancements of the BackOffice.

LS Hardware Station

Included within LS Central 18.1 are multiple enhancements to the LS Hardware Station, with a focus to improve efficiency and give more control to the user.

The most noteworthy of changes to the LS Hardware Station is the new Peripheral Check function, GetDeviceInformation, to the API. The function takes a parameter of a device ID and returns the status of that device. If the device is not found, an exception is returned.

The other changes to the LS Hardware Station in LS Central version 18.1 include:

  • Addition of Support for Verification Changes in LS Pay.
  • Minimum log level option (allowing you to decide how detailed the log should be).
  • Max log files to keep option (to let users decide how many logs to keep before the oldest are deleted).
