Following an unprecedented 2020, where many companies have experienced extreme struggles and hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Dynavics want to take the opportunity to support causes and companies that matter to them and give something back. The team were asked to put forward a cause they felt passionate about as part of the campaign…
Sam, Technical Consultant, at Dynavics chose a cause in his community of Swindon, GWH’s Brighter Futures Better Births Appeal.
“This is the charity for my local hospital, and they have launched an appeal to purchase better equipment for Mothers before, during, and after birth. Donations that have been made for the NHS in the last 12 months would have been focused on Covid so I wanted to choose something that is still very important but might have been forgotten about in recent times.”
Dynavics are donating a total of £1,500 to the appeal, which will go towards the appeal and help fund the new pieces of equipment, helping the Maternity Unit’s implement the recommendations of a UK-wide Better Births Strategy.
As well as Dynavics donating money towards the hospitals Better Births Appeal, Sam has decided he would like to get involved further and is looking to take part in a virtual event or two try and raise even more funds!
“I wanted to make a donation, but I’d also like to take part in one of their ‘virtual’ events to raise more money.”
Brighter Futures’ Better Births appeal aims to raise £80,000 for innovative equipment which will benefit all families receiving care at Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust during this memorable time.

“We are so thrilled that Dynavics has chosen to support our Better Births Appeal! Every year our midwifery team welcome 4,000 babies into the world and the appeal aims to help these families at this life-changing moment in their lives. Their support will help us purchase state-of-the art equipment for the maternity unit at Great Western Hospital in Swindon and really enhance the care we offer new mums. We can’t thank them enough for backing our Better Births Appeal!” Jane Leighton, Major Gifts Manager, Brighter Futures
