Our Methodology

The key to a successful implementation is the way it's approached.

When choosing your partner, we know that you’ll come across the more ‘conventional’ methods of implementation – numerous detailed workshops with every department to capture system needs, followed by time spent documenting it all - all before you actually have any exposure to Dynamics NAV to see how it would work for you. Our core focus is on encouraging interaction and involvement from users, which is why we’ve created what we feel is the most cost-effective, simple methodology.

Before we start, we ask users to document key business processes, which forms the basis for our interactive workshop session.  The workshop provides us the opportunity to demonstrate these processes using standard functionality and discuss how Dynamics NAV can be tailored to suit your needs.

Now that we have a good overall take on your business requirements, we request sample data from you e.g. items, customers, vendors, etc. We then upload this data and configure the design of Dynamics NAV, where we feel it will benefit you and your business.

Proof of Concept

In a matter of weeks, we present the 'Proof of Concept' to the users, with data that's relevant to you. Users will begin to understand how Dynamics NAV works, enabling more informed decisions to be made for any additional requirements. The definition of scope earlier in the project avoids multiple development and UAT phases.

Once these sessions are complete, the main database build will commence.  The time this takes will of course be dependent on development time required.

User Acceptance

The database is then presented back to the users and forms the beginning of the training and UAT phases. During the system build, all setup and development will be documented, evolving into a full system manual that can be used for on-going training.

When everyone's happy and the system passes UAT, preparations for cutover and go-live begin.

+Add-ons for NAV

We take your software further! Dynamics NAV out of the box is great (of course it is), but having been on the front line with implementations and development, there are a few niceties that we felt could be built and added on to make your world a little easier.
